It’s been nine years since we began producing bean-to-bar chocolates, rich caramels, and beautiful barks to sell to the people of Nashville. Our machinery isn’t quite as shiny as it was back in 2007, but one thing that will never lose it’s luster is receiving praise and accolades from the likes of Southern Living magazine.
We feel prouder than ever to be featured in Southern Living's 50th Anniversary issue as one of the “50 Best Places in the South Now.” Alongside fellow Tennessee greats like the Ascend Amphitheater and STIR restaurant and bar in Chattanooga, we at O&S are psyched to be in such great Southern company.
"34. Nashville Is Raising Chocolate to an Art Form - Many a chocolate lover has discovered Olive & Sinclair's factory and retail store in East Nashville. Last year, the company opened another shop in nearby Franklin. founder Scott Witherow and his crew mix stone-ground chocolate with pure cane brown sugar to create Southern Artisan Chocolate. They've made Southern sweets like Duck Fat Caramel and launched a new line, Seersucker Southern Craft Confections."
