What is Southern Artisan Chocolate + HOW IS IT MADE?

It's just like it sounds. We bring in organic and fair trade cacao beans into the factory and delicious chocolate bars leave the factory. Slow-roasted and stone ground in small batches, select single origin cacao beans are combined with pure brown sugar for a smooth and robust flavor unique to Southern Artisan Chocolate™.

Our combination of traditional methods, modern European technique and classic Southern flavors make Olive & Sinclair the NEW old-fashioned chocolate. In addition to using pure brown cane sugar for a slower "sweet" warm up in our chocolate, we also age cacao beans in Bourbon Barrels, smoke cacao beans in prized smokehouses, and use buttermilk to balance the cloying sweet and fattiness of white chocolate.

While most everything we do here at O&S is inherently Southern by nature, we also like to believe that when you slow down enough to think about it for a minute it also just makes sense.
